Kukicha tea has a unique brand of full body sweetness and low level of caffeine that is more often agreeable with seniors and children. Kukicha is harvested from the carefully aged twigs and stems of the tea plant. After aging, the twigs are toasted to provide a lightly flavored drink with a taste reminiscent of nectar sweetness.
