Calendula is an antiseptic, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial herb that promotes healing. It is an excellent first aid compress in cream for burns, scalds, and stings. Infusing an oil with calendula is known traditionally to heal wounds and sooth skin eruptions, eczema, and damaged skin.
